Historic Butteville Store

butteville-store1Ride or walk to Butteville on Champoeg’s bicycle trail and see the area first settled by French Canadians in the 1840s. Established in 1863, the store was originally owned by Josie Ryan and sold general merchandise. Today, the Historic Butteville Store is a hidden gem where you can have lunch or an old-fashioned ice cream cone or root beer float. Plus, the store has a full schedule of music, artists, authors, and fun food activities throughout the summer.
