Fourth Annual Champoeg Quilt Show: May 12- May 13, 10 AM – 4 PM
Quilting Through The Ages, featuring over 50 beautiful quilts, plus a raffle quilt! Quilt demonstrations by costumed volunteers.
Founders Day: May 5, 1 PM – 4 PM
Oregon State history started on May 2, 1843 at Champoeg with the historic vote to create a government and territory. Celebrate this milestone where it all began at the Pioneer Memorial Pavilion, with speakers, music and refreshments.
Champoeg Art Lessons: June 2, 10 AM – 4 PM
As part of the Junior Ranger program during Oregon State Parks Day, youngsters will have an opportunity to take an informal art lesson.

This annual event features a variety of activities to help visitors discover Champoeg: Tours of the 1860s kitchen garden and Old Champoeg townsite; Junior Ranger program for kids; refreshments. Free park admission, and free camping on Saturday night (regular campsites only)
Free Fishing Day: June 9, 2012 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Try your luck at catching a variety of warm water fish in the Willamette River. Fish without a license in the Willamette River Saturday and Sunday, June 12 & 13. Free use of rods and reels (subject to availability) with free bait and fishing instruction Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. Junior Ranger program for kids. Free park admission.
Champoeg Bluebird Day: June 16, 1 PM – 4 PM (call 503-678-1251 ext 221 for details)
Park staff and Prescott Bluebird Recovery Project volunteers team up to celebrate the return of the Western Bluebird to the park with fun and educational activities to support their efforts. Build or purchase a nest box. See bluebird-related exhibits, video presentations and a Junior Ranger program for kids. Enjoy some old-fashioned bird watching.
