PIONEER FARMSTEAD DAY

LOCATION: Donald Manson Farmstead (directly behind the Visitor Center)
SPONSORED BY: Friends of Historic Champoeg in cooperation with Oregon State Parks
DESCRIPTION: The Annual Pioneer Farmstead Day will provide an opportunity for you and your family to view and
participate in living history demonstrations, choose fresh produce from the 1860’s Kitchen Garden to
take home, and refresh yourself with lemonade and music!

APPLE HARVEST FESTIVAL

DESCRIPTION: The bounty of the harvest will be the theme for this day as your family enjoys fresh-pressed apple cider,
apple butter, desserts cooked in a Dutch oven, garden produce to purchase, and more.

CHAMPOEG HOLIDAY GATHERING

FRIENDS OF HISTORIC CHAMPOEG EDUCATION PROGRAMS
March - June 13th
Champoeg Promise School Program: Engaging students in grades 1-8 in the rich history of this area, utilizing hands-on
activities, stories, and living history.
September - May
Champoeg Legacy Adult Program: Immersing life-long learners in the colorful history of this area through four unique,
participatory programs: Archeology, Stories, Flavors & Pastimes, and the Changing
Landscape.
